Dr. Majid Ghasemy is an Associate Professor and Deputy Dean (Internationalisation) at the School of Education, Sunway University. He holds a PhD in Educational Management from the University of Malaya and has previously served as Senior Lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He was also the Malaysia Coordinator for the Global Higher Education Network. Dr. Ghasemy is a certified Web of Science Academy mentor, a certified ATLAS.ti Professional Senior Trainer, the sole globally recognised EQS/EQSIRT consultant, an accredited HRD Corp Malaysia trainer, and a certified Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning A and C associate.

His research covers educational leadership, higher education, performance effectiveness, sustainability, and research methods, with expertise in item response theory analysis, structural equation modelling, latent growth curve modelling, Monte Carlo simulations, multilevel modelling, longitudinal modelling, bibliometric analysis, and qualitative data analysis. Dr Ghasemy has reviewed nearly 50 journals and has served as an associate editor for 3 international publications.
